Great shoes rain, hail or shine!
Being a lover of barefoot walking, it only made sense. Those shoes have allowed be to go on my favourite multiday trails and allow me to feel barefooted in all Touraine. I love them so much I am upgrading to the Magna.

Great shoe, give me great balance, speed and grip on the trails while maintaining the lightweight and breathable nature of the standard primus lites.
I have not taken them of since I got them 2 weeks ago. I've never had shoes that were so comfortable and did not hurt when wearing them for the first time. I've used them for work (physical work), running, gardening, and anything in between (as you can see, they have gotten a bit dirty in the process). In short, I LOVE THEM!
It's very comfortable and water resistant.
I have worn vivo ultras for about 8 years, love them and still wear them. I bought my first pair of vivo trailies about 7 or 8 years ago that I also loved. I bought a new pair of trailies about 5 years ago (after wearing the last pair to death!) which were nowhere near as good as any of my others - they seemed hard and narrow, and caused blisters on the top of my heel where the back of the shoe was too high and hard and along the inside of my arches (i believe that was from the inner sole) - i only wore them a couple of times, and have more recently been wearing a combination of salomon, new balance and merrell in an my unsuccessful quest to find something I like. I bought this most recent pair in the hope that things had improved, but they are also very uncomfortable - they feel hard, don't seem as wide, and have rubbed a blister on the inside of the ball of my right foot, as per pic attached, which is after a week of healing since my one and only attempt to wear them. I found this to correlate with the position of the curved intersection of the coloured fabric upper and the rubber reinforcement along the inner side of the shoe (I would attach a pic but I'm limited to one in this feedback.) I had similar rubbing and blister on my smallest toe of my left foot. I wondered whether going up in size might help, but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to try!) I'm very disappointed with these shoes 😕

Happy with the actual shoe for trail walking/running, tested out a few times. Not a fan of shoe laces being different lengths (one long and one short) as quick lacing system not able to shorten. Happy with speedy delivery from Sole Mechanics :)
Amazing shoes and fast delivery
Lovely barefoot style shoes! Use them for cycling and walking, very sleek and comfortable with an obvious minimalist feel. Got another pair from Vivobarefoot as they are now my favourite minimalist shoes. Size works out if you use their guide, ie size up to give extra wriggle room.
Have enjoyed over 100km in the past few weeks hiking with these shoes and absolutely love them! The functionality and my range of motion is100% and these shoes allow me to truly feel the ground beneath me and move as nature intended my body to. 10/10

Great shoes!! Super comfortable. I've tried in lots of different terrains and can wear them for hours. Sizing is on point (I'm typically women's US8 and the EU39 fits perfect). I was dubious about the lack of laces but I like the do-up mechanism.

My second pair of Primus Trail FG and I absolutely LOVE THEM! I use these as my everyday shoe and the full black colour-way means I can get away in barefoot shoes more often! My first pair are over 5 years old and still have life left in them. BEST SHOE EVER!
These are my second pair purchased from Sole Mechanics! Love them, great for keeping up with my four legged friends, and stay comfortable, particularly on hot humid days like now !
I've been either barefoot or in barefoot shoes for nearly a year now, and these are my third pair of barefoot shoes. I wanted trail shoes as my other thinner-soled barefoot shoes are better for urban environments. My feet are 24cm long so I bought this pair in a size 37. I was a bit unsure of the sizing at first as my size 38 Vivo boots are a bit too long (but work well with winter socks), and when I first tried this pair they seemed to rub my little toe a bit on one foot. This was quickly remedied with thinner summer socks. They are PERFECT shoes!! I love them to bits. I took them for their first outing today on a long trail through mud, over rocks and sand, up and down large steps and through a river. They gripped well and stood up to all terrains. They were so comfortable and fitted perfectly. I way prefer barefoot shoes to regular footwear and these tick all the boxes for trail shoes. I stuck them in the washing machine on a gentle cold cycle when I got home to get the mud out and they have come out great. I will definitely get more of these when this pair bite the dust.
Shoes are great on the sole front. However, early fraying of the stitching and laces occurred early on. Following that, I've now had sections of the sole begin to separate from the mesh. All of these faults have occurred within 2 months of the purchase.
Enjoying my Primus trails. They have a nice fit. The sole of these is quote rigid for a vivobarefoot shoe which is great for running on rocky trails. These are a very good trail running shoe
Managed a 3 week holiday in the amazing NT ... slim window in border openings. My Primus Trail II FG Obsidian hit Katherine gorge, kakadu, kings canyon rim at dawn, base walk of ulura ... never missed a beat. Doubled up as casual out and about in Darwin. I packed hiking boots and sneakers ...and neither got an outing.... can pack much lighter next time ... might add a white pair of obsidian for special outings !

Very comfortable
I have a number of Vivos but this pair has taken a while to wear in, especially on the left foot where I have a bunion.
Good trail shoe so far, circa 100km done. Obviously barefoot and nothing in cushioning department, taken a bit to build up to longer runs. Longevity so far seems pretty good
